Sgt. James J. Holtom, 22, of Rexburg, Idaho died Feb. 8 in Karmah, Iraq, of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device detonated near his unit while on combat patrol. He was assigned to the 321st Engineer Battalion, Boise, Idaho.
